Daniel Riolo is distressed by the attitude of Mostafa Mohamed, who refused to play with FC Nantes last Sunday while the Canary club is fighting to maintain it.
Sunday in Toulouse (0-0), Mostafa Mohamed refused to play with a flocked jersey in rainbow colors. A trenched position on which the Egypt attacker returned in in a message posted on Twitter. Despite this explanation, Daniel Riolo is not at all convinced.

“What Mostafa Mohamed did was abandon his post. His team plays the maintenance and he for a reading of his religion, for a conviction, he prefers not to play rather than to understand the message and he prefers to have this negative attitude. Maybe if he comes in against Toulouse, he scores and those are three crucial points,” declared the sports journalist on the airwaves of RMC. FC Nantes also financially sanctioned its player on Monday. The amount of this fine was donated to the SOS Homophobia association.
@DanielRiolo on the refusal of certain players to wear the jersey with rainbow flocking to fight against homophobia: « When you don’t want to wear the jersey with rainbow flocking, that means that if a homo attack, you do not condemn them! » pic.twitter.com/24zLobPJcl

“Wearing the jersey is not supporting homosexuality, it is being against discrimination (…) The question is: do you or do you not condemn aggression, harassment or what you want, yes or no? If so, you’re on the move. It’s just that (…) You should know all the same that it is always a problem in the discussions. The players do it a little bit constrained, forced and that there is not this understanding”, insisted on recalling Daniel Riolo, somewhat disillusioned by this controversy.
