The goalkeeper has been with Benfica since 2018 and only recently extended his contract until 2027. In 212 games, Vlachodimos has been between the posts for the Portuguese. Many more should follow in the coming weeks.

However, the Stuttgart native with Greek roots is no longer one for Hansi Flick. After coming through several German U national teams, the keeper chose Greece in 2018. Vlachodimos has made 29 appearances there so far.
