U17 World Cup: France overthrows Mali and reaches the final

The French U17 team qualified for the World Cup final thanks to a 2-1 victory against Mali.

After the scoreless victories against Senegal (0-0, 5-3 on the tabs), in Uzbekistan (1-0), the Bleuets won the best in Mali (2-1), this Tuesday, at the same time validating their ticket to the U17 World Cup final.

Trailing 0-1 just before the break, Jean-Luc Vannucchi’s men turned things around in the second half, in numerical superiority, thanks to the achievements of Yvann Titi (56th) and Ismail Bouneb (69th).


The Bleuets will meet Germany in the final, at 1 p.m., To try to get the second title in the category, after 2001 with the Anthony Le Tallec and Florent Sinama-Pongolle generation.
