Twice no luck! Rüdiger in the Madrid derby in DFB mode

Antonio Rüdiger is currently one of the most successful players at Real Madrid. During the derby against Atlético Madrid, however, he experienced a very unhappy evening in which he showed more of his DFB face. He was involved in two goals conceded.

First, in the first half he headed a cross into the path of Lino, who then just had to push and celebrate.

Things got even worse in the second round. Camavinga deflected a pass into the penalty area and Lunin and Rüdiger both headed towards the ball. The Real goalkeeper dove on the ball as it rolled and tried to deflect it to the side. Instead, the ball flew from the goalkeeper’s hand to Rüdiger’s leg and from there to Morata, who thanked Atleti by giving Atleti the lead again.

The Colchoneros also know how to do burlesque themselves. Real’s equalizer came after a cross free kick that Oblak sent into the net.
