👀 Do the ravages of time eat away? This hasn’t happened in Lewy since 2010

FC Barcelona surprisingly lost 1-0 against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League last night. On the fourth day of Group H, one person in particular remained pale: Robert Lewandowski. Once again, the born goal machine failed to score a goal. Yes, we are writing consciously here again.

Lewy failed to score in his sixth consecutive competitive match. This might not be a huge surprise for a professional mid-range striker, but for the former Bayern kicker, it is. According to data portal ‘Opta’, the 35-year-old has only experienced a long absence of goals once. In the 2010/11 season, he even had to wait ten matches to get a place in the BVB uniform.

Lewandowski will likely score another hat-trick against Deportivo this weekend, but for now there is an unusually long goal drought.

What do you think: Will Lewy lie to us again soon, or has the Pole slowly passed his prime?
