This article was published for the first time on March 24 at 2:29 p.m. and has now been updated with more information.

A good month after its end at the 1st FC Nürnberg, Olaf Rabbe could start with another second division club. As the « Kicker » reports and can confirm the transfer market, the 46 -year -old is one of the favorites of the position of Sports Managing Director at Karlsruher SC. Oliver Kreuzer had to take his hat almost two years ago, since then, there was no successor.

Rebbe has talks with the KSC, but they are not yet confronted. The 46 -year -old man, whose contract with the Franks must be dissolved quickly, has other options in addition to the second division club. In the absence of a director general of sport, a working group under the direction of coach Christian Eichner had first resumed the planning of the squad, later Sebastian Freis as the chef of the professional and Michael Bischof as regional manager, scouting and analysis.

Bishop is now also one of the three most promising candidates for the vacant office. Eintracht Frankfurt sports director, Timmo Hardung, was also exchanged, but would have withdrawn. The third option alongside Bishop and Rebbe, which the president of the KSC, Holger, knows and appreciates Siegmund-Schultze, is reported to Florian Zahn, who is the young Bosscout in Bayern. A decision must be made quickly.

Update of March 25, 6:57 a.m. According to « Sky », Ralf Becker is also a subject. The old HSV sports table already knows the KSC of Times as a player and assistant coach and is intended to maintain a good relationship with the managers, in particular for the coach Eichner.

In February, Rebbe was published as a sports director by FCN. This was justified with different opinions on the future club orientation. Rabbe and the club had already experienced an extraordinary transfer window: with the change of Finn Jeltsch for 8 million euros of exclusive bonuses at VFB Stuttgart and Stefanos Tzima for 25 million euros in Brighton, Franconia underlined its reputation for factory talent and Strong Selder Association. In total, Nuremberg made transfers last winter with a total volume of 66.4 million euros.
