Brest: the Stade de France track becomes clearer – Football

Assured to compete at least in the Champions League play-offs after its victory against PSV Eindhoven (1-0) this Tuesday, Stade Brestois is considering changing stadiums for the direct elimination phase. Forced to play the league phase at Roudourou de Guingamp due to the non-compliance of its Stade Francis-Le Bl with UEFA requirements, the Finistrian club took steps to realize the wish of President Denis Le Saint: move to Stade de France for the continuation of the European adventure.

According to the newspaper L’Equipe, the leaders of the Breton team contacted the subsidies of the Dionysian enclosure, but have not yet made a final decision. It will undoubtedly depend on the caliber of the opponent in the event of a barrage, because the location of the Saint-Denis enclosure (80,000 seats) is not given. In response, Brest plans to continue playing at Guingamp, carrying out the development work necessary to host matches of this type, or at Roazhon Park in Rennes. Contacts have been established on this subject. Further south, the Beaujoire Nantes slope does not pose a problem. Note that from the Dams, the SB29 will no longer be able to change stage.
