The US Orléans (Site notre bureau spécialisé) club (USO), which plays in National, the three professional divisions, is downgraded to National 2 by the DNCG (National Directorate of Management Control) as a precautionary measure, reports France Bleu Orléans Wednesday January 10 . The club should arrive at the national season, before a possible administrative demotion, and a ban on recruiters. The USO is also included in the payroll.

The legendary financier of French (Site notre bureau spécialisé) has just made this decision after asking the club, in December, to provide new financial guarantees to ensure its sustainability. France Bleu Orléans writes that these guarantees adapted to the partial or total sale of the club by its current president, Philippe Boutron, a process which is about to be completed, blow the USO to France Bleu Orléans.

The club « is not in danger of death »

« It’s just a question of timing, there are so many questions about the club, there is no danger of life », confides Reynald Berghe, general director of USO services, interviewed by France Bleu Orléans. The conductor says that “following the hearing on December 14, the DNCG gave us until January 10 to provide solutions”but he recognizes that “it was a bit tight”because of the end of year holidays.

Within two to three weeks, the solution will be found and the sanction will be lifted.

“The DNCG’s request is based on 2 million euros of financing guarantees to be distributed to ensure the sustainability of the club”specifies Reynald Berghe, who assures that“A certain name of investors is interested in the USO”.

The DNCG’s decision is not due to the immediate activity of the club, currently 9th (out of 18th) of the National Champion, which will be brought back to Paris Saint-Germain on January 20 and 16 for the final of the Coupe de France. .
